"Days of our Lives" comings and goings for the week reveal that one major character is headed back to Salem. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of actor Chandler Massey in the role of Will Horton, and it seems that by the week's end Will could be back home where he belongs. Massey has previously stated that he believed his first air date may be September 15, which would bring him back to the NBC soap opera on Friday, just in time for a good old fashioned soapy cliffhanger.
Will Horton finally returns to Salem
According to the latest "Days of our Lives" spoilers, Will Horton will return in a very dramatic fashion.
When he finally makes his presence in Salem known to all, it will seemingly be at Chad and Abigail and Paul and Sonny's double wedding ceremony. This will shock everyone, but nobody will be as shocked as Will's husband, Sonny, who is currently gearing up to marrying Paul, a man that he has a very long history with. It seems that Will's return will have a lasting impact on all involved, and it will surely bring some seriously needed drama and depth to the soap.
Lisa Rinna is also making a comeback
Meanwhile, it has been announced that another big character will be coming home to Salem as well. Actress Lisa Rinna will make her "Days of our Lives" return as Billie Reed in early 2018, and fans can't help but wonder why she is coming home, and what kind of drama she will bring back with her.
Will she and Hope Brady reignited their decades-old feud, and possibly fight over Hope's current fiance, Rafe Hernandez? Maybe Billie will bring a shocking revelation home with her, or perhaps she'll just be home for a boring visit with her mother, Kate Roberts, and her brother, Lucas Horton.
More 'DOOL' comings and goings revealed
In addition to the big names returning to "Days Of Our Lives" in the future, actor Edd Hall will be seen again on Tuesday, September 12 and Wednesday, September 13 as a newscaster. He previously appeared in the role last May. Phil Tyler will play Harry, a Statesville prison guard who has interaction with Adrienne while she's behind bars after being put there by Bonnie Lockhart, who is currently in Salem living Adrienne's life, and causing a ton of problems for the Kiriakis family.
Big things are coming
It looks like "Days of our Lives" viewers will have a lot to look forward to in the coming months as Alison Sweeney is also reprising her role as Sami Brady for a short stint, and fans are hoping that Sami's returning to Salem will bring big things for the soap, and possibly an EJ DiMera return.
