For the sake of 10-month-old Dream, Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have finally reached a custody agreement to settle the issue. Both agreed to peacefully co-parent their 10-month-old daughter, one positive development in a long list of issues between the two celebrities.
The custody agreement for Dream was something Blac Chyna had been requesting all along. Attorney Lisa Bloom mentioned this to US Weekly.
No truth to Chyna purposely leaving Dream
Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have been going back and forth on several issues. After a year-long engagement, the high-profile couple split last March – four months after the birth of Dream.
Things started to get messy in July when Rob posted explicit photos of the dancer. That move, branded as revenge porn, was believed to be Kardashian’s way of getting back at the Instagram beauty for allegedly cheating on him.
In a report from People last July, the only son of the Kardashians also posted some photos showing Chyna kissing a man in bed. Rob followed that up with a screenshot of a text conversation between him and the man the dancer was with.
Aside from that, Rob claims that Chyna had purposely left their child alone to go party. Bloom clarified that there is no truth to that allegation and branded it as false. "Like many working mothers, Chyna does sometimes leave her baby with a nanny while she goes to work,” said Bloom.
Chyna's attorney added that this is something that the model "has always done before, during and after her relationship with him to support herself and her children.”
With the issue between the two getting out of hand, Chyna sought a restraining order against Rob Kardashian. However, a new twist was added with Chyna claiming that Kardashian had violently attacked her back in April, according to TMZ.
Far from over
As one can see, the dispute between Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian is far from over. Bloom made that clear saying that this custody agreement does not resolve all the disputes between the two.
In another report from TMZ, Blac Chyna is reportedly seeking a seven-figure settlement for the revenge porn. The custody arrangement calls for Kardashian to shell out $20,000 a month in child support.
The agreement also calls for Rob’s ex-partner to drop the abuse allegations filed against him.
Originally, Kardashian had reportedly batted for only $10,000 in child support. Chyna had wanted $50,000 to cover expenses for the nannies and childcare. After talks, the two had agreed to barter the price down to $20,000 plus the dropping of abuse charges.
With one less dispute to worry about, it remains to be seen if other conflicts will be resolved. At least for now, the custody tied up to their 10-month daughter has been settled.
