Many feel that “Arrow” has lost track regarding the storyline, after its disastrous fifth season. CW was also expected to cancel the show. Fortunately for its fans, they confirmed that there is a sixth season in the making. According to a report by Den of Geek, they are expected to debut it sometime in October. The specific release date of the show hasn’t been confirmed.
Who will play Slade Wilsons son's role?
Additionally, it has also been suggested that Liam Hall has been hired to play the role of Slade Wilson’s son the upcoming season. According to a report by EW, Liam – who shot to fame through shows like “Lucifer” and “Camp” – has been cast to play Joe Wilson in “Arrow” Season 6.
He is expected to finish his father’s unfinished businesses as a part of A.S.I.S. Sneak peek into the show’s sixth season reveal a scene where he is stuck in Kasnian prison, with the super villain Kane Wolfman in charge. He is rumored to take up much of the screen time this season.
Manu Bennett will also be making several appearances in the show. In fact, he even shared a picture of him dressed as Slade on the sets of “Arrow.” He accompanied the image with the caption, “The Sun Never Sets #Arrow Season 6 #sladewilson #deathstroke.”
Earlier this month, the official trailer of the next installment had also been published. The trailer confirmed Echo Kellum’s presence in the show. What role will he play in the show, is not known yet.
It has also been stated that “Arrow” has now been given the traditional Wednesday slots, instead of Thursdays.
Everything you need to know about the cast of the show
Other cast members scheduled to make their comeback on the show include Ragman, Marc Guggenheim, Sydelle Noel, Rick Gonzalez and Juliana Harkavy (Black Canary) and Kirk Acevedo.
Unfortunately, Rory is not a part of the show anymore. Kirk Acevedo will be seen playing the role of a super villain called Richard Dragon.
The character has been described as “a hardened ex-con recently released from prison for crimes he didn’t commit,” by officials. His character is apparently influenced by the thought of overtaking Star City.
Dragon is pretty iconic in the comic books. He has been a part of the comic series since 1975. Mostly famous for his Bruce-Lee style kung-fu combat, he is a rogue that everyone fears. It will be pretty interesting to see what his reinvention looks like. It definitely will be a tough fight for Arrow.
