Five more acts were chosen for the grand finale of "America's got talent" Season 12 on September 13, Hollywood Life reported. The final round of the competition will air on NBC on September 19 and the live results show will air on September 20.

The contestants who made it through the finals were singers Angelica Hale, Mandy Harvey and Kechi Okwuchi, along with dance groups Light Balance and Diavolo. They are slated to join the previous five acts who were announced during last week's episode. They include comedian Preacher Lawson, dog act Sara and Hero, and singers Mike Yung, Evie Clair, Darci Lynne Farmer and Chase Goehring

The most recent episode of "America's Got Talent" was a joyous moment for the Filipino-American singer Angelica Hale.

When her name was announced, she covered her face with both hands. This incredibly talented 10-year-old singer chose to offer a fine rendition of the song "Without You" by David Guetta and Usher during the show.

Nine-year-old Celine singer Celine Tam was unfortunately not given the green light and failed to get through to the finals. This helped to pave the way for Mandy Harvey who is on her way to a brilliant future.

Dance acts

Tyra Bank's Golden Buzzer meant that Light Balance made it through the next round of the show. Light Balance is a dance group with performances that dazzled with movement and lighting effects.

Acrobatic dance group Diavolo won the judges' thumbs up vote in "America's Got Talent." They were initially not chosen through America's votes.

nevertheless, judges Simon Cowell, Mel B and Howie Mandel voted for them so they got the chance to go through to the Grand Finals.

Diavolo features an interpretative dance act characterized by gigantic props moving around the stage. Their performance during the last episode was an act that featured huge pyramid structures and outer space-themed props on stage.

Evie Clair's father dies ahead of finals

"America's Got Talent" finalist Evie Clair, the 13-year-old singer who wowed the judges with her song rendition, faces another hurdle before the grand finals. Her father recently died after battling cancer, the contestant announced via Twitter.

She wrote that the previous week has been the "best and worst week" of her life, but she is grateful for the memories of her late father.

She expressed that her father is now "in a place 12 gazillion times better" than the world now.

Clair recalled some memories of her father, such as the moments when she learned the salsa and learned to eat chicken wings with him. Most of all, she thanked her father for introducing her to their faith.
