The popular celebrity couple, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, officially filed for a divorce in April this year, after almost ten years of marriage. They announced their split back in June 2015. The two are parents to three children- 11-year-old Violet, 8-year-old Seraphina, and 5-year-old Samuel.
While some reports have claimed that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s divorce proceedings are going on smoothly, some others have reported that the two are fighting over money.
Couple fighting over money!
According to In Touch Weekly, the estranged couple is gearing up for a nasty fight over money.
As per the report, Jennifer wants a large part of her ex-husband’s fortune, which is currently estimated to be over $105 million. The report further stated that in order to get a hefty divorce settlement money, Jen is reaching out to Hollywood’s top divorce attorneys.
However, Gossip Cop went on to check the authenticity of the alleged report. The tabloid questioned a trustworthy source about the current situation. The source assured that no any such battle over money is going on between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner and that the magazine’s claim is completely baseless.
Notably, In Touch Weekly also published a false report sometime earlier this year that claimed that Affleck and Garner were planning to patch up for a fourth child, but they filed for divorce soon after.
Ben celebrated birthday with kids
Despite the legal proceedings going on, the movie star recently celebrated his 45th birthday on August 15 with his family in Los Angeles. The "Justice League" star arrived solo at the Barton G. restaurant, wearing a light gray t-shirt, a pair of blue jeans, a gray blazer and sneakers. His three kids, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel arrived sometime later at the venue with gifts in their hands.
They were accompanied by their nanny. Garner was nowhere to be seen.
The 45-year-old star is currently dating SNL producer Lindsay Shookus. The two revealed their relationship in public in early July. The couple was recently spotted shopping together at the Barneys store in New York City on Sunday. They also enjoyed a dinner date at Mas Farmhouse.
Ben is undoubtedly one of Hollywood’s busiest stars. He will be seen next playing the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne in the upcoming DC superhero movie “Justice League.” The film will get released on November 17, 2017.
