"Game of Thrones" season 7, episode 7 ("The Dragon and the Wolf") featured a lot of hints and interesting details. Here are a few the best ones from one of the last episodes in the season.
10. What Bran cannot do
Bran finally told us something new about his powers. In the season 7 finale, the Three-Eyed-Raven told Samwell that he "can see things that happen in the past [and] things happening now all over the world," which suggests that he can't see the future.
9. Spot the differences
It looks like the same image was used twice: look at the second picture of the photo gallery.
The image has been flipped around to create two separate sequences. Why, you might ask? For budget reasons, of course!
8. 'Kill the boy and let the man be born'
Maester Aemon told the exact same words to Jon and to his brother Aegon Targaryen when he was crowned. Apparently, he gave the same advice to two different Aegon Targaryen.
7. Look at those Dothraki!
If you look closely at the scene in which Tyrion and Jon are escorted by several Dothraki to the Dragonpit, you may notice that the Dothraki are all wearing scavenged bits of Lannister armor. The Dothraki love the spoils of war.
6. The reason why Daenerys believes she cannot bear children
In the show, Mirri Maz Duur said that Drogo would be fine once again "when the sun rises in the west and sets in the east.
When the seas go dry and the mountains blow in the wind, like leaves." In the books, she also told Dany "When your womb quickens again and you bear a living child, then [Drogo] will return, and not before."
5. Jon said something interesting to Cersei...
Speaking of the Night King, Jon Snow tells Cersei that they're dealing with "a general you can't negotiate with", but we actually know that the White Walkers are capable of negotiation (they negotiated with Craster).
4. Cersei didn't touch the wine glass Tyrion poured for her
Apparently, Cersei has chosen not to drink wine until her baby is born. She's pregnant, and that's the main reason why she didn't touch the glass Tyrion handed her.
3. Has Littlefinger really started the war between the Starks and the Lannisters?
The answer is yes. He told Catelyn Stark that the Valyrian steel dagger used in Bran assassination's attempt was owned by Tyrion Lannister.
This lie led Catelyn to take Tyrion prisoner and fueled the great conflict between the Starks and the Lannisters.
2. Another Aegon Targaryen?
Jon Snow's real name is Aegon Targaryen, which is pretty weird, considering that Rhaegar also named his firstborn son Aegon (we're talking about the son who was murdered during the Sack of King's Landing). Although it's not clear why, it seems that Rhaegar wanted a child named Aegon to rule the Seven Kingdoms!
1. Are Tormund and Beric alive?
In the last scenes of episode 7, we can see Tormund and Beric run to what looks like safety before the Night King use Viserion to bring part of the Wall down. We're pretty sure they're still alive since "The Dragon and the Wolf" official HBO's recap reads: "Pieces of the Wall begin to collapse, as Tormund and his wildings rush to safety".
