The feud has ended: Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty make amends

We constantly see celebrities who would rather jump off a cliff than work together. Normally those work tiffs last for a short while and then fade away from the news screens. Sometimes these tiffs can last longer than expected. Take for example Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty. Both have been opposed to each other, until just recently, but it certainly took them quite awhile to get things sorted.

The feud has at last ceased

After a lengthy fifteen years, the two actresses have finally stopped butting heads. For those who might have been living under a rock these past few years, let's go over a quick recap of the bickering drama between Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty.

When the magical show "Charmed" first aired in 1998, Milano and Doherty both played sisters alongside Holly Marie Combs. The enchanting, supernatural drama was a hit, drawing in more views with each episode. However, The Feud between the two began not long after the show's success.

Sadly, the joy between the three stars would only last three seasons, as Doherty left the show in 2001, stating there was simply "too much drama on set." The show continued for five more seasons but did so without Doherty. The departing actress gave a full description regarding her reasons for leaving to Entertainment Tonight during an interview. Doherty never gave word regarding Milano, leaving many to believe that the two were still at each other's throats.

Fast forward to the present day and it appears that the two are now getting along just fine.

The feud is in the past

Recently, Milano did an interview with E!'s Daily Pop and cleared up quite a bit about the now dwindling feud between the two. According to Milano, the two have many conversations through Twitter's direct messaging and have even spoken about plans to meet up and talk about their lives.

The two have been talking frequently and seem to be doing well.

As for those who wondered what happened to mend their broken past? Milano told the hosts of the show that she believes the two are well past the age to care about what happened so many years ago.

In 2015, Doherty was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, Doherty is now in better health and cancer free.

Milano also had comments concerning Doherty's health saying that she hoped she was doing okay. She was also very glad to hear that she was doing better in regards to her battle with cancer. Milano also wishes her the best and said that she prayed for Doherty every night during her hard times. It's safe to say that these two have been through plenty of events over the years, but it seems they have both come out on top with a mending of friendships to boot. The two have both commented on the recently announced reboot of "Charmed" as well. While quite a few fans are outraged, the actresses have both expressed nothing but the utmost excitement.
