Goldderby shared that fans of Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe would totally be having a chance to meet them in person after they were confirmed to be attending this year’s Comic Con. The lead stars of the incoming “Outlander” Season 3 series are set to appear at the San Diego Convention Center on Friday, July 21, 2017, at 5 P.M.
Besides Heughan and Balfe, other stars who would be joining the event this year include Richard Rankin, who plays Roger Wakefield, Sophie Skelton, who portrays the role of Brianna Randall, and Tobias Menzies, who acts as Jonathan Randall in the popular series. Additionally, executive producers Maril Davis and Ronald Moore are also said to be gracing the convention.
Hosted by none other than Jenna Dewan-Tatum, “Outlander” Season 3 writer Diana Gabaldon is also expected to join the cast and give spoilers about the incoming installment. The news outlet added that fans should expect a lot of news and updates about the new season, which is based on the “Voyager” novel.
Spoilers suggested that the premiere episode of the third season would focus on the desire of Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe’s characters to see each other.
While most parts of the storyline were based on Gabaldon’s third book, Fansided shared that there are a number of modifications to make the show more interesting to the viewers.

Meanwhile, The Sun reported that Caitriona Balfe had shared a “dirty” photo of Sam Heughan while filming for the “Outlander” series.
Effortlessly garnering thousands of likes, the said photograph featured the actor covered with blood.

Heughan and Balfe’s effective portrayal as Jamie and Claire Fraser had sparked speculations that they could be dating in real life.
Rumors even claimed that the two had been spotted getting flirty and cozy while on the set of the popular STARZ series.
The “Outlander” Season 3 actor had previously confirmed that he is dating MacKenzie Mauzy during his 37th birthday bash. However, it did not stop fans from linking him to his longtime leading lady.
