Ever since the popular Korean celebrity stars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo made their relationship official, a lot of rumors and speculation about the couple’s wedding plans surfaced online. The two got close to each other while filming the hit military drama, “Descendants of the Sun,” last year. Song Joong Ki reportedly proposed to Song Hye Kyo in Japan last winter.

Wedding might take place in Taebaek

According to a recent report by Inquisitr, the celebrity duo might host their upcoming wedding at Taebaek in Gangwon Province on October 31, 2017.

The wedding function is expected to take place in the fictional Urk church.

Notably, the spot has a close connection with the celebrity couple as it has a statue of Captain Yoo Shi Jin kissing doctor Kang Mo Yeon. The television show “Descendants Of The Sun” helped a lot in boosting the tourism industry of Gangwon Province.

In a recent interview with Soompi, when the Korean TV star was asked why he wants to get married at an early age unlike most other top stars when he is at the peak of his popularity, he replied saying that for him there are certain things that are more important than popularity.

Song Joong Ki wants to live a lifestyle like Cha Tae Hyun’s

Song Joong Ki added that the biggest reason behind him getting married early is Song Hye Kyo.

He said he feels that it would be great to spend the rest of his life with his lady love. The celebrity star also expressed his wish to live a lifestyle like Cha Tae Hyun‘s. Joong Ki expressed his respect for Tae Hyun saying that he is a family man.

The couple broke their engagement news earlier this month. While Joong Ki wanted to announce the engagement after the release of his upcoming wartime thriller movie, “The Battleship Island,” it did not go as planned.

He did so to put an end to endless romance rumors with his “Descendants of the Sun” co-star. The movie will premiere on July 26, 2017.

In related news, the South Korean star will visit Singapore as part of the publicity tour for his soon-to-be released thriller, “The Battleship Island,” on August 8. The movie director, Ryoo Seung Wan and co-stars Hwang Jung Min and So Ji Sub will also join him on the upcoming tour.

In the meantime, a Facebook page Song Song Wedding is recruiting volunteers to promote Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-Kyo marriage stories. The page is even doling out the SongSong couple e-trophies for the loyal fans of the SongSong couple.
