Nick Gordon’s name is back in the headlines once again, but this time it’s because of a brand new case. He was a suspect in Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death back in 2015 but vehemently denied that he had anything to do with it at all. Now that Gordon has been arrested for beating up his current girlfriend, Laura Leal, at his mother's Sanford, Florida home, that may be viewed as potential evidence for the 22-year-old’s shocking death.
This new domestic violence case may seem to have no link to Bobbi Kristina Brown’s shocking death. Nevertheless, the Fulton County District Attorney’s office believe that this may finally shed light as to what happened to the daughter of whitney houston and Bobby Brown.
Nick's new arrest may link to Bobbi Kristina's death investigation
The D.A. shared that they have tried not to talk or comment about Bobbi Kristina Brown’s case but believe that Nick Gordon’s new domestic violence arrest may be an important factor in the ongoing investigation of the young star’s controversial death. “It goes without saying that the arrest of Nick Gordon in the Florida domestic violence case will certainly add an additional layer of evidence to the final resolution of this matter,” the Fulton County District Attorney’s office told People magazine.
In photos obtained by TMZ, Nick Gordon’s girlfriend showed her bruised arm as a result of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s ex-fiance's controlling and violent behavior.
Laura Leal shared that Gordon pinned her to the bed and hit her multiple times. She, fortunately, escaped his brutal attack by hitting him with a candle which she said saved her life.
“I’ve been reading the reports about Bobbi Kristina and I'm physically shaking. I read about her being isolated, her family who did not know where she was, the manipulation, the bullying - it's the exact same thing,” Nick Gordon’s girlfriend told the DailyMail.
“That could have been me.”

Laura Leal admitted that she and Nick Gordon never talked about what happened to Bobbi Kristina Brown. The girlfriend initially believed that she was saving him from heartache by not mentioning Whitney Houston’s daughter’s death.
However, Leal revealed that their relationship went on a downward spiral when Gordon started drinking heavily and smoking marijuana. He then became abusive towards her, accusing her of cheating on him and sleeping with other men.
