After whispers and speculations that the actress and Jamie Dornan had already taken their work relationship to the next level, the ex-girlfriend of Matthew Hitt is facing another romance rumor with her new leading man, Shia LaBeouf.
Dakota Johnson and Shia LaBeouf are working on a new film together, “The Peanut Butter Falcon.” Instead of focusing on the movie, a new report claims that the 31-year-old actor, performance artist, and filmmaker seemed to be more interested in his co-star.
Shia LaBeouf was allegedly hitting on the 27-year-old actress during the shoot of their new indie drama. The former child star was reportedly so smitten by the beauty and talent of Dakota Johnson that he wanted to be near her as much as possible on set.

“[Shia LaBeouf] is always finding excuses to talk to her or interrupt her when she’s stuck in the makeup chair,” and she consistently has to brush off his advances,” an insider told the OK! magazine. “He’s starting to become a real pest.”
The insider went on to say that Dakota Johnson wasn’t interested in Shia LaBeouf’s little tactics. The “Fifty Shades Freed” actress’ main focus is to do her job well, especially because “The Peanut Butter Falcon” is her “first serious dramatic role.” The source then suggested that Shia’s wife, Mia Goth, should start being visible on set to check on her husband’s intriguing behavior.
However, Gossip Cop quickly debunked the new allegation. The site presented their own reliable source, who called the shocking claim “ridiculous.” A friend of Dakota Johnson also reportedly denied the alleged flirting incident on the Georgia set of the upcoming indie film.
‘Fifty Shades’ stars are working on new separate projects
Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson is not the only one moving on from the “Fifty Shades” franchise. Her on-screen love Jamie Dornan also dropped his iconic role to play a struggling salesman in “My Dinner with Hervé.”
The 35-year-old Irish actor, model, and musician plays Danny Tate alongside “Game of Thrones” actor Peter Dinklage, who was cast as the main character.
The movie is based on the real-life story of Herve Villechaize, a French actor who committed suicide back in 1993 at the age of 50. The star was struggling with a lot of health issues because of his dwarfism.
