"The world is changing. Soon, there will only be the conquered, and the conquerors." There is a chilling quality to this statement as it echoes through the "Black Panther" Teaser Trailer that was just released. The trailer clocks in at just under 2 minutes, and, for the first time, fans really get a sense of Wakanda and everything that's at stake in this film. As far as teaser trailers go, this one does a phenomenal job of offering up just enough to whet the appetite of viewers, while not giving all that much away in the grand scheme of things.

Either way, it certainly makes an impression.

Explosive trailer for 'Black Panther' released

Undoubtedly, even for a trailer that clocks in at 1:53, there is a lot of information and a lot of stunning visuals packed in. Viewers are introduced to Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaw, and, as with every role that he takes, whether it be Gollum in the "Lord of the Rings" films, or the title character in the most recent "Planet of the Apes" reboot, Serkis always brings a certain level of intensity to his roles -- and he will likely do the same here as well.

For a long time, Wakanda has been referenced in the MCU, whether it be in reference to Captain America's shield being made of Vibranium farmed from Wakanda, or whether you take into account Chadwick Boseman's first appearance as the Black Panther in "Captain America: Civil War," Wakanda has always been a part of the MCU, but in a distant, far-off sense.

Thanks to the official teaser trailer, viewers get to finally see their first glimpse of Wakanda in full, epic fashion.

Hype building after 'Black Panther' teaser trailer drops

While many viewers have their eyes glued to Game 4 of the 2017 NBA Finals, reactions on Twitter to the first movie poster released for "Black Panther" and this teaser trailer have been largely positive. Many have noted the costumes featured in the trailer -- and the costume of T'Challa himself:

At the time of this writing, the "Black Panther" teaser trailer has been live for a little over an hour, and has already amassed almost 500,000 views. Part of this hype could be due to the fact that "Black Panther" is one of the few big-budget, blockbuster films to feature a predominantly African-American cast. Amid the outcry in recent years of Hollywood "whitewashing," "Black Panther" certainly stands as one of the most diverse casts in recent memory.
