There's much to be said about the boys of One Direction, who following their hiatus last year, has spawned solo careers from its members. Of course, Zayn Malik was the first out the door when he officially and abruptly left the band in 2015 and released a solo record in 2016. The remaining members released one last record as a fourpiece in 2015 titled "Made in the A.M.," before going on hiatus in 2016. Each member proceeded to pursue their solo endeavors, with Louis Tomlinson collaborating with Steve Aoki, while Harry Styles recently released a record of his own.

Liam Payne is also gearing up to release a record by releasing a single, while Niall Horan is also currently on the Billboard charts. Horan recently spoke to Billboard to talk about his life post-One Direction and why he will still drop everything for them when the opportunity calls.

One Direction member pledges allegiance to the band

The 23-year old singer/songwriter from Ireland admitted that he and his bandmates are still in touch, thwarting rumors that they no longer talk or are too busy to catch up. But for those who are eager for them to return as a band, it seems that they will have to wait a while longer. Horan admitted that One Direction hasn't talked about reuniting and recording or hitting the road just yet, and it is all with reason.

Malik is already busy working on his new record, while the rest of them are promoting their solo efforts. Nonetheless, Horan admitted that One Direction will always be his priority. He explained, "I told my managers from the start: When One Direction comes knocking, f**k what I’m doing. I don’t give a sh*t if I sold out arenas or won Grammys.

I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for that."

Niall Horan is single, but fancies women with dark hair, dark eyes

On the dating front, Niall Horan is very much available. Now that he isn't busy doing world tours and recording platinum records, the solo artist has time on his hands to date and has quashed rumors that he's in a relationship with Selena Gomez's friend, Courtney Barry.

He admitted that he's just enjoying his 20's now because he only has one shot at it. Meanwhile, he's also busy enjoying golf, as he previously caddied for Irish golf champion Rory McIlroy. He also has a fascination with space and is close friends with astronaut Shane Kimbrough, who he met during the "Drag Me Down" video shoot. Horan is currently signed with Capitol Records and is set to release his debut solo record this fall.
