The 34-year-old model Miranda Kerr is finally married to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel. While people considered this to be a whirlwind romance, the two still happily tied the knot and became husband and wife to each other. It can be recalled that Orlando Bloom's ex-wife first announced her engagement with her billionaire lover on social media. According to earlier reports, the two first met in 2014 and began dating the following year. Also, it has been revealed that they immediately clicked together from the start of their relationship.
Kerr, Spiegel on elegance and intimacy
E! News reported that the wedding was held at their home in Brentwood, California. The event happened in front of their family and closest friends. It was confirmed that the wedding has less than fifty attendees, which was described as an 'intimate one'. Some attendees from the said wedding expressed their reactions toward this memorable moment.
"It was a small wedding," one guest told the earlier source, saying Kerr looked like a natural princess on her special day. Another wedding goer revealed that the intimate event was truly an emotional one. The groom and the bride's exchange of vows were filled with tears in their eyes. As for the guest list, attendees were mostly models and high-profile identities.
The invited wedding guests arrived at 4:00 pm and they were welcomed by the served cocktails in an open-air tent. A pianist and string quartet then played "When you wish upon a star." The wedding ceremony started at 4:40 pm and took twenty minutes. Moreover, the venue was decorated with true elegance. Lisa Storey served as the bride's makeup artist.
How it all started
The now married couple was initially engaged in June 2016 after dating for over a year. Kerr was previously interviewed about how she fell in love with the tech tycoon. "He's just a really kind person and very genuine and very authentic and I really appreciate that about him, and also, he's very intelligent," Kerr told the media.
Her relationship with Evan Spiegel is already the model's second marriage. It can be recalled that she was first married to "Pirates of the Carribean" star Orlando Bloom. The ex-couple got married in 2010 and eventually parted ways in 2013. They have one child named Flynn.
On the other hand, this marks the first marriage of Spiegel. Miranda Kerr shared that she's considering the possibility of having another child with him. While she's already happy with Flynn, the child is asking for a sister or perhaps, a brother.
