With “Logan” heading to domestic theaters this month, Fox has released new posters and trailers to create excitement among fans. The studio confirms that “Logan” will be released in the United States in blue-ray, and DVD formats. Also, the Logan SteelBook will be available at Best Buy in Canada and the US on May 23. Early projections for the film reveal that “Logan” will gross over $210 million at the box office. This month, a black-and-white version will be available. The same day, “Logan” will hit in Ultra HD, 4K, and Digital HD.
‘Logan’ – the film
“Logan” is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. it is a joint project of TSG Entertainment, The Donners’ Company, Marvel Entertainment, and 20th Fox Century. It is the tenth film in the “X-Men” series, and the final Wolverine solo movie, following “The Wolverine,” and “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” The story and dialogues are inspired by a novel of the same name by Steve McNiven and Mark Miller.
James Mangold has directed the project, with Scott Frank serving as screenplay writer. The cast includes Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, Erig La Salle, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Elisa Neal.
Box office report
“Logan” was screened at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival in February 2017, and theoretically released on March 3, 2017. The film received positive comments from critics and audiences, with some calling it the best superhero movie of all time. It has grossed more than $605 million worldwide and made with a budget of $97 million.
In July 2016, it was announced that Cliff Martinez would compose the musical score of “Logan.” James states that he got influences from the visual effects of “Shane,” ”The Cowboys,” “Paper Moon,” “The Gauntlet,” “Little Miss Sunshine,” and “The Wrestler.”

As of April 2017, “Logan” grossed more than $380 million in Japan, China, England, India, and other parts of the world, excluding the United States and Canada.
On the review aggregator website, Rotten Tomatoes, it has an approved rating of 93% based on 279 reviews. On Metacritic, the film has scored 78 out of 100 based on 54 critics. Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave it “A” on an A+ to F scale.
