Lisa Rinna says her return to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” next season is far from a done deal. In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rinna said she’s currently on “hiatus” and has no plans for what’s next in her reality TV career. Rinna said she is “done” with the show—for now, anyway—and added that she’s “in heaven” right now because she’s not working on the Bravo Reality Show.
Rinna went on to admit that after last season’s rough ride, she has “no idea” if she’ll be back for Season 8. The former soap star also said the same is true for all of her “RHOBH” cast mates, joking that no one knows if they’ll be back until about “five minutes” before filming starts.
Rinna also shot down rumors that she and her husband, Harry Hamlin, are set to reprise their own reality show. Rinna starred with Hamlin in the short-lived TV Land reality show “Harry Loves Lisa” back in 2010, but these days the mom of two says her daughters Delilah and Amelia are too busy with their own modeling gigs.
Why did Lisa have a bad year on ‘RHOBH’?
Lisa Rinna has had a rocky road on the “Real Housewives” franchise, but last season was especially bad. Over the past few seasons of the show, Lisa Rinna repeatedly confronted castmate Kim Richards over her sobriety struggles and her 2015 shoplifting arrest. Things got really ugly during a dinner in Amsterdam when Richards teased that she knew a big secret about Rinna’s husband.
Lisa told Kim never to talk about her family again.
Lisa also went head-to-head with Kim Richards during the “RHOBH” reunion last month after Richards returned a stuffed bunny Rinna had gifted her grandson, Hucksley. Kim said she felt the bunny had bad energy. Lisa looked like she was about to cry before walking off the set to compose herself.
Lisa Rinna has always been one to speak her mind. After the first part of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion aired on Bravo, Lisa posted a very telling message to Instagram, which said: “Everyone was thinking it, I just said it.”
What change did Rinna recently make?
While Lisa isn’t sure if she’ll be a “Real Housewife” next season, she is making changes in other areas.
Rinna recently rocked a slicked-back new hairdo. Longtime fans know that Lisa’s never-changing hairstyle has been a long-running joke. Now, Lisa says “change is good,” according to Bravo.
Stay tuned to find out if Lisa Rinna will return to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for Season 8.
