However, the “Rise” singer may have opened up another round of battle with the 27-year-old singer and songwriter in her latest interview.
Katy Perry was recently a guest star on the Ellen DeGeneres show where the 32-year-old former lady love of Orlando Bloom spilled more than just the details of her new album. Just like the rest of the show’s guests, the “California Girls” hitmaker participated in one of the popular show’s games.

The segment was titled “Will You Perry Me?” where Katy Perry was to choose from a handful of male celebrities that she would want to date. While Taylor Swift was never mentioned during the whole interview, her exes, Harry Styles, and Tom Hiddleston were swiftly placed in the mix.
Katy Perry gamely played along and has been choosing One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles multiple times when pitted against Zac Efron, Kit Harington, and Chris Pine. The singer shared that she loved the 23-year-old 1D star’s new album, which probably explains why he won Perry’s heart until Leonardo DiCaprio stole the top spot.
While the whole thing has nothing to do with Katy Perry’s number one nemesis, Taylor Swift, at all, Harry Styles and Tom Hiddleston’s name were not listed there for no reason.
The “Hot n Cold” singer and Joe Alwyn’s rumored girlfriend were used to be good friends until they had gotten into a feud that neither both parties addressed it until now.
Taylor-Katy feud getting out of hand?
Their infamous rift dragged way too long that even Taylor Swift’s BFF, Ed Sheeran, just wanted to get it over with by being friends with Katy Perry as well.
The 26-year-old English singer-songwriter, actor, guitarist, and record producer decided to crash Perry’s interview BBC Radio 1 before the 2017 Brit Awards where the two talked and reminisce their very first encounter.
"Taylor and Ed go way back, which is why she was furious when she saw him cuddling up to her sworn enemy Katy Perry recently,” an insider revealed to OK!
magazine, as reported by Celeb Dirty Laundry. “Ed’s been so busy promoting his new album that she hasn’t been able to speak to him yet, but when she does, Ed’s definitely going to get a telling off,”
While many took Sheeran’s new friendship with Orlando Bloom’s ex as a betrayal, it seems that he is just proving that he’s not taking any sides in the ongoing Taylor-Katy feud.
