Katy Perry and Taylor Swift used to be good friends, but it’s no secret that the duo are not exactly the best of pals anymore. Although their feud has been dragged out for a long time -- even longer than most expected -- the “Chained to the Rhythm” singer and Joe Alwyn’s girlfriend have been tight-lipped regarding what really happened. Now, Orlando Bloom’s former lady love has finally addressed the issue and wants it to end.

Katy Perry was a guest star on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden earlier this week and the 32-year-old singer and songwriter was shockingly candid when it came to spilling the details about her ongoing feud with Taylor Swift.

The ex-friends have been avoiding the topic for quite a long time, but it seems like the “Teenage Dream” hitmaker is now ready to open up and talk about it -- and just be done with it.

“Honestly, it’s really like, she started it and it’s time for her to finish it,” Katy Perry told James Corden during her segment of Carpool Karaoke. “And I tried to talk to [Taylor] about it and she wouldn’t speak to me.”

The “Last Friday Night” singer then told the comedian that she tried to reach out to Taylor Swift but Harry Styles' former fling totally shut everything down. The multiple Grammy Award-winner then suddenly wrote a song about Katy Perry and their major beef, Katy commented: “I’m like, ‘Okay, cool. Cool. That’s how you want to deal with it? Karma.'"

There was a lot of speculation about how their feud really started.
