Filming on the new “Deadpool” movie has been delayed by several days. “Deadpool 2” will return to North America for principal photography on Wednesday, May 17. Production for the movie is reportedly delayed to accommodate another film, “Love Machine,” and will now wrap on October 7 instead of in September.

The new "Deadpool" movie

Since January 2017, 20th Century Fox has been in the headlines due to the upcoming “Deadpool” movie. It is currently scored 7 out of 10 on Rotten Tomatoes based on 41 reviews. The film has a 4.12 out of 5 ComicBook User Anticipation Rating, making it one of the most anticipated Hollywood films to date.

David Leitch (John Wick) is recruited to direct the project. Ryan Reynolds returns as Wilson, and the story is written by Louise Simonson and Rob Liefeld.

Earlier this month, it was reported that “Atlanta” beauty Zazie Beetz is also in the cast. She will portray a mutant, Domino, who manipulates the entire universe with her supernatural powers. It seems that we have to wait a bit more for the new “Deadpool 2” posters and trailers as the whole team is currently busy in pre-production.

The film also features Josh Brolin, Briana Hildebrand, Stefan Kapicic, Leslie Uggams, and Karan Soni. It is expected to release on June 2, 2018.

"Deadpool" – the original film

Released in 2016, “Deadpool” received great comments from film critics and audiences.

It is directed and co-produced by Tim Miller and scripted by Rhett Reese, based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name.

The movie premiered in Los Angeles and Paris on February 8, 2016, and theoretically released in the third week of February 2016. Critics admired the performance of Reynolds, film’s tone and storyline.

It has received numerous awards, including three Golden Globe Awards, two Producers Guild of America Awards, and four Critics' Choice Movie Awards.

It is a commercial success, earning more than $800 million at the box office.

It is one of the highest grossing movies of all time. Shortly after the success of “Deadpool,” Fox began the development of a sequel and scheduled it for summer 2018.

The story revolves around an officer, Wade Wilson, who encounters a prostitute, Vanessa, and develops a relationship with her. A few months later, he proposes her, but the lady refuses the marriage proposal, saying that she cannot spend the whole life with him. Gina Carano, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Jed Rees play the supporting characters in this movie.
