Eve Donovan's history in Salem
When de Paiva made her debut as Eve Donovan on "Days Of Our Lives," fans were not sure what would happen. It turns out that she was full of trouble, especially for Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves). They even had a crazy storyline of Eve sleeping with her daughter's teenage boyfriend, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss).
However, things changed once Paige (True O'Brien) was murdered. After the killing, Eve tried to find comfort with men and attempted to mentor an aspiring singer. However, nothing took away the pain of losing her daughter to the Necktie Killer. One day, Eve left Salem and is overdue for a comeback.
Kassie de Paiva's cancer diagnosis
During the Fourth of July weekend in 2016, Kassie de Paiva received a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She became concerned after feeling a lump in her breast. Concerned about cancer, she went to the doctor. To her surprise, the lump didn't mean anything, but she was diagnosed with a different type of cancer. She began treatment immediately and was candid about the side effects of chemotherapy.
At the time of her diagnosis, she was preparing to come back to "Days Of Our Lives." However, her health had to come first, so her return was postponed.
Soap opera star announces remission
After several months of treatment and chemotherapy, the "DOOL" star used World Cancer Day to make an exciting announcement. On February 4, she told fans on social media that her cancer was in remission.
When asked about a possible return to "Days Of Our Lives," Kassie de Paiva said she would like to come back when the time was right.
When will actress return to 'Days Of Our Lives?'
Fans should get ready for Eve's return to Salem. She will make her next appearance on October 30. Interestingly, October is going to be full of returns.
Alison Sweeney is reprising the role of Sami Brady and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is also coming back this fall. Viewers should also expect to see Anjelica, who will be played by veteran actress Morgan Fairchild.
