bethenny frankel may be an outspoken businesswoman who is often known for her loud mouth on “The Real Housewives of New York,” but there are some things that she doesn't really talk about. Frankel has been very secretive about her dating life over the past couple of years since splitting from her ex-husband Jason Hoppy.
One of the reasons for her privacy has to do with her daughter Bryn. Another reason is that she doesn't want her name all of the tabloids, as she would much rather be featured in the media based on her business performance. This was something she revealed on “The Real Housewives of New York.”
However, when Bethenny Frankel all of a sudden showed up with Eric Stonestreet from the hit show “Modern Family,” people had questions as to whether or not they were dating.
When the both appeared on “Watch What Happens Live,” Andy Cohen decided to ask them both whether or not there was any truth to the rumors. While Bethenny warned Eric that she would be completely honest, Eric decided to answer the question himself as he values his privacy.

“I mean, we met, and I think we both decided that we make much better friends,” Eric told Bethenny, adding, “But she’s a wonderful kisser."
One of the reasons why Bethenny may have warned Stonestreet about her answer is because she doesn't really care about what people think about her. She put her entire life on a reality TV show, and she doesn't hold back even if its something bad.
But Eric is an actor, and he probably values his privacy a lot more, since he's not on the reality show.
Based on his answers, it sounds like they may have tried to date but learned that they are actually very different. Maybe he wanted kids, and she wasn't planning on having any more. Or maybe was the other way around. Regardless of happened, it sounds like they're much better off as friends who can have fun.

Since these particular dating rumors, Bethenny Frankel has been linked to Dennis Shields, even though she recently revealed that they had split up. It sounds like she's loving the single life and focusing on her business and her daughter Bryn. Even though she appeared to be happy with Dennis, it sounds like the drama with her ex-husband may have overshadowed the romance.
