It’s no surprise that Michael Rooker has stolen the show away from the “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2” actor, Baby Groot.
Rooker is already famous for his works in “Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer,” “Slither,” and “Mallrats.” Television critics and audiences highly admire his appearance in “The Walking Dead.” Yesterday, the actor hinted at the new season of “The Walking Dead.” He took it to Twitter and revealed that new episodes are in development and will premiere in 2018.
‘The Walking Dead’ – TV series
“The Walking Dead” is one of the most famous American shows.
It is created by Frank Darabont, based on a comic book of the same name by Tony Moore, Robert Kirkman, and Charlie Adlard. The story revolves around an officer, Rick Grimes, who awakes from a coma and discovers that zombies overrun the world. He unites with several old friends to fight against the monsters in a post-apocalyptic world.
The show premiered in the US on October 31, 2010, and AMC ordered new episodes in March 2011. Fox International Channels financed “The Walking Dead.” It mainly attracts 19- to 39-year-old viewers of any cable or broadcast television series.

Future seasons
The new season of “The Walking Dead” was announced in January 2017, with Gimple serving as showrunner. The executive producer, David Alpert, said in a statement to Mashable that the original comics had given him many ideas about how to proceed with the new seasons.
Jose Pablo Cantillo, Kyla Kenedy, Denise Crosby, Tyler James Williams, Benedict Samuel, Ann Mahoney, Corey Hawkins, Merritt Wever, and Khary Payton will make cameo appearances in Season 8.
“The Walking Dead” is mostly shot in Los Angeles and Georgia, with David Tattersall serving as director of photography. All episodes of the series are reviewed by recognized critics, with an approval rating of 87% on Rotten Tomatoes. The series scored 76 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 26 reviews.
Heather Havrilesky from Salon called it one of the most amazing shows to date. Born in April 1955, Michael Rooker is a famous American actor. He began his acting career in 1986, and played the leading character in “Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer.”
