Empire has released several new images from the highly-anticipated “Alien: Covenant.” All of the stills contain different kinds of dangers, creating excitement among fans. The first photo looks like a flashback with either David or Walter. Michael Fassbender played both robots in the previous installments. The second photo shows an engineer allowing several aliens spread on the planet, while its third picture gives glimpses at the new xenomorph. It has now been named as the neomorph.

‘Alien: Covenant’ – an upcoming horror film

Alien: Covenant” is an anticipated American film directed by Ridley Scott, with dialogues by John Logan and Dante Harper.

The story is penned by Jack Paglen and Michael Green.

It is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster “Prometheus,” and the second installment in the “Alien” series. The cast includes Michael Fassbender, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demian Bichir, and Katherine Waterston. The movie will hit a theater near you on May 12, 2017.

The story sounds interesting

Bound on a remote planet, David and Walter believe that they’ve died. Soon, they realize that it is a dark world with lots of dangers. A strange creature starts appearing, and the two have to defeat it. Michael Fassbender is playing a synthetic android, Walter, who was created and developed by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation. He’s reprising his role from Prometheus.”

Katherine Waterston is playing a space scientist, Daniels, who is married to the ship’s captain, Jacob Branson.

The actress reveals that she knew about the comparison that was going to be made between her and Ellen Ripley from the previous film. Billy Crudup appears as Oram, who is a close friend of the “Covenant.”

Danny McBride is portraying Tennessee, who is the chief pilot the ship, while Demián Bichir plays the head of the security department, Sergeant Lope.

Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, and Jussie Smollett play Karine, Faris, and Ricks, respectively. Noomi Rapace reprises her role as Shaw from “Prometheus.”

In August 2015, Scott claimed that he had chosen locations from the film.

Two months later, the Australian government offered him $46 million in grants. Woz Productions Ltd., a sub-division of 20th Century Fox, visited New Zealand and Finland for a location scout.

Principal photography started in April 2016, in Fiordland National Park. The shooting wrapped in July 2016 and additional photography took place at Leavesden Studios. CreatureNFX and Odd Studios have provided visual effects, and Animal Logic is behind the digital effects of this movie. Harry Williams will compose the score of “Alien: Covenant.”
