Dwayne Johnson says that Priyanka Chopra is the biggest female celebrity in the world.

The actor has shared a few pictures of the upcoming movie “Baywatch,” on the official Twitter and captioned: “I love Priyanka. No one could play the female villain better than her.”

Priyanka Chopra is one of the biggest names globally today. Previously, she was in the news for the hit ABC show “Quantico.” And now, she's being talked about for her good looks and impressive acting in Hollywood film “Baywatch.” The movie will see Priyanka playing the antagonist, Victoria.

A Bollywood actress in Hollywood

Priyanka Chopra is one of the most successful and beautiful Bollywood actresses. She is the winner of the Miss World 2000 pageant, and began acting career from 2003 blockbuster “The Hero.” Her most notable works are “Andaaz,” “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi,” “Aitraaz,” “Krrish,” “Fashion,” “7 Khoon Maaf,” “Mary Kom,” and “Dil Dhadakne Do.”

In 2015, she played Alex Parrish on the ABC series “Quantico,” becoming the first Asian to appear on an American channel. In addition to her acting career, Priyanka is the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights. These days, she’s busy with the promotions of her forthcoming Hollywood film.

‘Baywatch’ – the film

“Baywatch” is Chopra’s latest project opposite Dwayne Johnson. The film is directed and co-produced by Seth Gordon, based on the TV series of the same name. In addition to Chopra and Johnson, the movie features Zac Efron, Jon Bass, David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Kelly Rohrbach, and Alexandra Daddario in the leading roles.

It is scheduled to be released on May 25, by Paramount Pictures. The story is about two lifeguards who put aside personal differences and team up to stop criminals from a drug trafficking operation.

Most of the scenes have been shot in Florida, California, and Georgia.

Both Dwayne Johnson and Priyanka Chopra look excited about the project. Johnson became a superstar after the smashing success of “The Mummy Returns,” “The Scorpion King,” “The Rundown,” “Walking Tall,” “Gridiron Gang,” “Southland Tales,” and “The Game Plan.”

The actor says that he has joined hands with Warner Bros. for two new sequels to the thriller “Journey,” but the release dates are unconfirmed.
