Pinoy actor Dave Bautista is returning as Drax in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” He is widely known for his marvelous performance in “Spectre” and “Blade Runner 2049.” The actor has been recruited by Marvel Studios to reprise a character he loves playing. He says that he’s excited about the character and loves playing Drax. He didn’t expect to receive an offer from Marvel Studios, but it’s too easy to get hired when your previous movies gross high at the box office. Additionally, Glenn Close is returning as Irani Rael and Mike Escamilla will make a brief appearance as a villain in the movie.

According to Dave, he is playing the same guy who laughs at the ridiculous things. He has lost his family and several good friends in an accident. It takes him some time to get back to routine life. Once he realizes that we’re in this world for a purpose, Dave decides to connect to new people. By nature, he is a loving and caring human being. In the movie, Bautista develops a friendship with several new characters, including Mantis (Zoe Saldana). With the passage of time, his relationship with Mantis takes a serious form and Drax decides to propose the lady. She does not respond to his proposal as she doesn't want to get married. But she has some other plans in her mind.

Drax and Mantis suffer from some pain and learn new things together. They go through various ups and downs, but do not let the problems ruin their relationship. The actor says it's great to work opposite Zoe Saldana in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” and wants to sign more movies with her in coming months.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’

This anticipated Hollywood movie is based a novel of the same name by Karan Gillan. Marvel Studios has joined hands with Walt Disney Studios for the distribution. It is the sequel to 2014's action movie “Guardians of the Galaxy.” James Gunn serves as the director, and Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Elizabeth Debicki, Sean Gun and Sylvester Stallone are in the lead roles.

The movie was officially announced at San Diego Comic-Con International 2016 before the theatrical release of the previous installment. The filmmaker said that he’d several ideas about how to present the story in this new film, and took several months before finalizing the script. It’s not easy to write down everything that is in your mind. “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” will hit a theater near you on May 3.
