Grammy-winning recording artist Ed Sheeran is celebrating the success of his third album, "Divide," by giving the gift of performing. Sheeran announced his 48-date North American tour set to kick off at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri at the end of June and will run until early October 2017 ending at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville,Tennessee. But fans will have to act fast if they want dibs to see their favorite U.K. singer live. Presale tickets go on sale on Monday March 13th at 10 a.m. local time through March 16. Tickets for the general public go on sale March 17.

Ed Sheehan kicks off tour to celebrate huge success of first two singles

Fans will be able to hear their favorite Ed Sheeran hits including "Shape of You" which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single has topped the chart for six weeks. The U.K. singer's second single "Castle on the Hill" came in at number 6. According to Billboard, Sheeran is the first artist to have two singles to make "simultaneous top 10 debuts." Billboard has been tracking charts for 58 years. Sheeran gained massive success after releasing "Thinking Out Loud." The song won a Grammy for Song of the Year.

The singer's new album 'Divide' breaks records online

The U.K. pop vocalist has been reaping in the rewards of his new album "Divide" (styled ÷) since it was released on Friday, March 3.

Two days after the album's release, the singer reached 1 billion views on YouTube for "Divide" songs collectively. A recent trend artists have adopted for their YouTube channel is releasing a lyric video before the official video. Sheeran's "Shape of You" lyric video has been watched at least 395.4 million times. The lyric video along with the lyric video for "Castle on the Hill" were released on YouTube on Jan.

6. According to Billboard, the British songwriter gained three million YouTube subscribers in the last two months. Mashable reports that the three million new YouTube subscribers is another feat for Sheeran. It's the most growth for any channel on the platform so far this year.
