Brad Pitt has reconnected with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, after splitting from Angelina Jolie. Sources say, Pitt is texting Aniston and is discussing the hard time he is having after the split with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie.

US Weekly reported that Brad Pitt did not know Aniston’s phone number, but was able to track down her number through some contacts. Initially, Pitt wanted to contact Aniston to wish her a happy birthday on her 48th birthday. After that, they both reportedly started texting each other and seem to be enjoying each other’s company.

Brad Pitt discusses his split from Angelina Jolie and family

In his text messages, Pitt talked about his split with Angelina Jolie and their court battle. Angelina filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016. Brad told Aniston that he is having a hard time since the split.

Pitt and Angelina Jolie, both well-known actors, are fighting over custody of their children. The couple split after 2 years of marriage and more than a decade of remaining together. Both are trying hard to come up with a settlement privately.

Aniston celebrated her 48th birthday in Mexico

Jennifer Aniston, who turned 48 years this February 11th, celebrated her birthday in Mexico with her husband Justin Theroux. Theroux seemed to be fine with Aniston and Pitt sharing some texts and building a friendship.

The friendship between Pitt and Aniston is not a surprise for many who know both of them. According to a close source, the couple has maintained their friendship, but with a limited relationship. In her interview with the "Hollywood Reporter" back in 2015 after their divorce, Aniston stated that they did not communicate daily, they both wished good things for each other.

She added that no one did anything wrong, sometimes it just happened like that.

Our family will be okay, said Jolie

Angelina Jolie has also maintained good relations with ex-husband, Billy Bob Thornton. He said in one of his interviews that even though they did not talk to each other on a daily basis, they still remained good friends.

In her recent interview with George Stephanopoulos, Jolie said that her family would be okay. She said that she and Brad are thinking about their family and focusing on the health of their family. She added that they would be stronger once they came out of this. Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie have six children together.
