Nick is happy Rachel got the gig
One day after Jimmy Kimmel introduced Rachel as the next "Bachelorette" star, Nick Viall took to Twitter to offer his support to the 31-year-old Texas lawyer who made history as the "Bachelor" franchise's first black lead.
"My heart is full of joy for you Rachel," Nick tweeted. "Congrats!! You will be one hell of a Bachelorette!! Beauty & class.. you have it all!!" Nick went on to say, "No one better to show Bachelor Nation, & the world, the beauty of embracing diversity!

ABC sets premiere date for Rachel's season
According to WetPaint, Rachel will start taping during the third week of March, right after "The Bachelor" finale airs on ABC. Most of the men have already been cast for the show and they will be on their way to the Bachelor mansion in L.A. shortly before filming gets underway.
Blogger Reality Steve hasn't revealed who Rachel's guys are just yet but it won't be long before he starts releasing information about the men who will try to win her heart — or, at the very least, secure themselves a spot on the summer spinoff, "Bachelor in Paradise."
