After his first marriage went on the rocks, he vowed never to tread the path again but amal alamuddin came into his life to literally sweep him off his feet and change his outlook.
George did not want to remarry
George Clooney is 55-years-old and expects to become a father for the first time. He married Amal (39) in Venice in September after proposing to her in April 2014. The marriage was the culmination of their romance and, it was a ceremony in which celebrities arrived in full force to wish the pair.
George Clooney is well known for his movie "Ocean’s Eleven" and its sequels and the list of guests included stars like Bono, Matt Damon, Ellen Barkin, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski and Bill Murray. Matt Damon was his co-actor in Ocean’s Eleven.
After marriage, the Clooney's attended a number of events not only of the film world but also of the world of philanthropy. These were the 2015 Golden Globes and the Cannes Film Festival followed by a trip to Davos to participate in the annual World Economic Forum. It was here that Amal Alamuddin earned recognition for her work involving human rights.
Amal changed George’s perception
Incidentally, this was George Clooney’s second marriage. His first one was with actress Talia Balsam and it lasted from 1989 to 1993.
He was once bitten twice shy and had resolved that he would not marry again. However, along came Amal Alamuddin, a Lebanese-British human rights lawyer to upset his ideas. That was in 2013. Another resolve of George that fell flat on its face was about having children of his own.
He is now waiting to hear the cries of his babies – yes, he is going to be a father of twins.
Amal is expected to gift him the twins and that will certainly brighten up their lives! They have homes in California, England, and Italy and Amal is a busy woman. Her legal profession takes her from one country to another and, in spite of her busy schedule, she is confident that she can take care of her children.
