Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce that she and hubby, music mogul Jay-Z, are expecting twins. The “Formation” singer posted a picture of herself wearing a veil, bra, underwear, and a blossoming baby bump, along with a caption stating that her family is blessed two times over. Ever since the birth of the couple’s firstborn blue ivy, there has been speculation off and on as to whether or not the former Destiny's Child star was pregnant again. Most recently, the rumor mill got to grinding again when Beyonce appeared in a promo video last week for her Ivy Park clothing line with a noticeable protruding tummy.

Now, the speculation is over.

And babies make three

The singer also wrote that they were incredibly grateful to see their family growing by two and thanked everyone for their well wishes. Her mother, Tina Knowles, also expressed her joy on her own Instagram account, writing that God is so good and she was so happy. Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy, was born in 2012. Although the photo posted by the singer shows she is way beyond being two months pregnant, there is no word as to the expected due date.

A year of phenomenal achievements

This will be a super busy year for the “Lemonade” singer as she is set to headline the Coachella music festival in April and make an appearance at the 59th annual Grammy Award show this month.

Although, it is not clear as to how this will affect her performing at the festival or any other scheduled events.

This year she is up against Adele for song of the year, record of the year, and album of the year. Having earned a total of 62 Grammy nominations, Blue Ivy’s mom is the most nominated female artist ever. Beyonce is nominated to win nine trophies, and could make history at the Grammys if she surpasses Alison Krauss’ record win of 27 total awards. Beyonce has so far won 20. Fans and industry insiders are thrilled about the singer's good news. The Grammy Awards will be televised on February 12th.
