TV chef Rocco DiSpirito of "Now Eat This!" lost 41 pounds and is on a mission to teach people how to lose up to 10 pounds in 10 days. His revolutionary weight loss system is outlined in his book "The Negative Calorie Diet." Chef DiSpirito is also known for his "Cook Your Butt Off" method in which cooking tasks make fat-burning negative calorie foods. Eat all you want in negative calorie diet

Unlike positive calories that add weight, negative calories subtract pounds because they burn more energy to prepare, eat or digest than they provide. Water is the most important fat-burner because it adds nothing but takes a lot of work to process. Foods high in water are negative calorie. DiSpirito's diet is gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugarfree. Calorie forward foods are vegetables, nuts, lean protein, and seeds (high in fiber and water). The best foods are almonds, apples, berries, citrus, cucumbers, cruciferous vegetables (cauliflower, cabbage, bok choy, broccoli and Brussels sprouts), green leafy vegetables, mushrooms, and the nightshades (peppers, tomatoes, eggplant).

You can lose as much as 10 pounds in 10 days eating this way.

He advises doing away with gadgets and doing it by hand. Burning off half the calories beforehand means you can cook your way to thin. His essentially ketogenic (high protein, high good fat, low bad fat) gluten-free, sugarfree, dairy-free diet promises a pound a day weight loss for up to 10 days.
