Obviously, for the Fourth of July, everyone wears their best outfits that contain red, white, and blue. It can sometimes be hard to come up with combinations if you have no idea of what you want to wear. Sometimes you have the perfect shirt or makeup, but you just do not know what to pair them with.
Red lipstick
Red lipstick is extremely popular on this holiday and it can be so much fun to wear. First, make sure that the shade of red fits your complexion properly -- whether you need purple, red, or an orange red. By making sure you have the right lipstick on, it will help your face brighten.
My favorite combination for an outfit with red lipstick is a white top and denim shorts or jeans. Personally, I like the look of distressed denim, but that is all up to you. The reason why I like a white top instead of a patterned or colored top is because it puts more attention on your lips. People will focus more on the red lipstick and less on the rest of your outfit. If you wear a colored or patterned top, it can make the upper half of your body look too busy and people will not focus on your lips as much.
Patterned shirt
Whether you have a cute flag or striped shirt, you can wear any sort of combination that you like. With a patterned shirt I think that wearing white shorts or jeans would be really cute.
Of course, you can pair your shirt with any sort of denim, but I prefer the look of white with patterns. It puts more focus on the shirt so that people pay more attention to that part of your outfit.
Outfit ideas
People wear whatever they want for the Fourth Of July, but if you want to look cute, I am here to help. Usually, people wear as much red, white, and blue as they own so that they can represent their country.
If you have any sort of American flag shirt, pants, shoes, or accessories, tomorrow would be the day to bring it out and wear it. If you do not have any sort of American flag items, my favorite combination to wear is a simple white top, denim, and white shoes. The top can be cropped or baggy. For pants, the denim can be destroyed, long jeans, or shorts.
I usually would pair this outfit with some red lipstick or an assortment of red accessories. I then would bring some sunglasses or a hat to help block out the sun and prevent sunburn.
Remember to have fun on the fourth! Be less focused on the outfit you are wearing and more focused on the amazing people around you. Also, make sure that you stay safe, and, most importantly, have fun.
