Ray York, the popular jockey of the 1950s, died of pneumonia in Cal. on February 26, 2020, according to an LA Times report. He won over three thousand races in his long career.
His girlfriend revealed the news of the demise of the 86-years-old jockey. His two sons and a daughter were with him during this time. He was best remembered after he won the Kentucky Derby when he was just twenty years old. The funeral will be held on Mar. 7th, according to his family members.
