An online entertainment website recently interviewed former vice-president Al Gore, who said that the incumbent United States president Donald Trump should resign. The video of the interview was posted on the website’s YouTube channel, LADBible.

When asked what advice he would give Trump. "Resign" said Al Gore, without blinking an eye.

During the interview, Gore discussed his insights on the climate crisis. The former vice-president also promoted his upcoming film, titled “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power.”

He also shared his personal opinion on today’s relevant issues concerning the youth, global warming, and the so-called climate change critics.

Al Gore and Trump

According to the Huffington Post, the former vice-president is not satisfied about his ongoing relationship with Trump's administration. He has reportedly been lobbying and discussing climate change with the incumbent leader.

After the presidential elections, Gore said he paid a visit to Trump Tower to bring forward the climate issue but was unsuccessful. He said, “I thought that there was a possibility that the president would come to his senses, but I was wrong.”

The environmental advocate believed that the president might not act on key issues surrounding climate change, after his decision on the Paris Accord. During his 2016 campaign, Trump made promises that he would pull out of the Paris agreement, citing that it was a “bad deal." Last month, the Huffington Post reported that he has already decided on withdrawing from the accord, a decision that was criticized by businessmen, allies, and fellow politicians such as Gore.

The Climate Reality Project

Al Gore ran under the Democratic Party and became the 45th vice-president of the United States, serving the Clinton administration.

However, he is best known for his works and advocacies on climate change. According to his official website, he spends most of his time as the head of The Climate Reality Project.

It is a non-profit campaign that aims to think of solutions about climate crisis that the world is currently facing today.

Al Gore has won an Oscar for his documentary, that showed the threats that climate change brings. This environment-centric project also won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for providing information about the dangers of climate crisis. His work continues as he faces more challenges along the way.
