Barron Trump rumors
With Donald Trump becoming an even more polarizing figure since first announcing his bid for the White House, to eventually winning the nomination, for better or worse, Time Magazine has come to the consensus that Donald Trump is, in fact, the person of the year for 2016. When the next President is named, the United States of America -- and the rest of the world -- take note. By extension, that notice falls not only to the President-elect, but to his family, as well.
On election night, it was noted that Donald Trump's youngest son -- 10-year-old Barron Trump -- seemed to have difficulty trying to keep himself awake during his father's acceptance speech upon accumulating enough electoral college numbers to secure the nomination.
At first, many viewers took to social media to comment on this, and most of those comments said something along the lines of the fact that it was well past the 10-year-old's bed time.
Sleepy Barron Trump, or something more?
The Santa Monica Observer suggests that Barron Trump appearing fidgety, not speaking much, not shaking hands, and being wobbly when he walks gives weight to the theory that, not only could it be Autism, but that the boy could be bullied at his Manhattan school on account of it. The Observer goes a step further, suggesting that perhaps this is the reason why soon-to-be First Lady Melania Trump has taken such a hard stance on bullying recently. Many users on social media shared the sentiment that Melania Trump advocating an end to bullying is, in effect, the pot calling the kettle black, with the way that President-elect Donald Trump has practically made bullying an art form -- but perhaps she wasn't speaking of Donald at all.
Added to this, there has also been a lot of commotion recently over Melania's decision to stay behind in New York while Donald Trump attends to his duties in Washington. The reason given thus far has been the fact that the Trump's want Barron to be able to finish the school year at his current institution. However, could it also be that they want to keep Barron away from the spotlight and the further attention that living in the White House will generate?
What is Autism?
Autism is a spectrum disorder with characteristics that can manifest as difficulty with social interaction, and both verbal and non-verbal communication. Another hallmark includes repetitive behaviors. The spectrum can also encompass varying levels of intellectual disability and fine motor impairment. There may also be instances of disturbance as it relates to sleep and gastrointestinal matters.
According to the latest statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), about 1 in every 68 American children will fall somewhere along the spectrum.
