Italy tightens lockdown after coronavirus death toll soars

Apart from China, Italy is one of the worst affected European countries of the novel coronavirus. The country is in complete lockdown mode after 97 people were reportedly killed in one single day. The Italian PM addressed the nation on television and said that all shops apart from food stores and medical supplies should be shut down. People have been asked to avoid handshakes and keep a distance of at least three feet from each other. Another Asian country that is most affected is Iran.
