The apartment was designed by Swedish designer Cilla Ramnek offering guests a panoramic view of the entire airport as reported by Travel & Leisure. The floors to ceiling windows offer the guest a breathtaking view of the runway. It has a kitchen and dining area.
It has a minimalist Scandi-chic feel with a grey and black colour scheme with bold design touches, including leopard-print chairs and cross patterned bed linens. The Arlanda Airport air control tower apartment is a project of HomeAway. It is conducting a competition at present that awards the winner a chance to say at the tower.
Another amazing renovation done by HomeAway was in Paris. It has converted a room at the Eiffel Tower into a designer flat as reported by Telegraph. Another air control tower was converted into an apartment in Tel Aviv and an abandoned lighthouse was made into a hotel in North Carolina. It will introduce this alternative vacation rental to other countries especially those that thrive through their tourism industry.
