The live-action "Beauty and the Beast" movie is an instant classic, poised to break the billion-dollar barrier at the box office, and the tale as old as time is enchanting guests and leaving them with a taste for more. The Walt Disney World theme parks in Orlando offers a wide variety of ways for guests to experience the world of Belle and the Beast in real life.

Magic Kingdom experiences

The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World offers perhaps the most authentic "Beauty and the Beast" experience because it’s home to the Beast’s castle. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant inside, with multiple dining rooms based on the West Wing, the Rose Gallery, and the famous ballroom where the couple shared their magical dance.

Beast hangs out in his study to say hello to guests when they’re done dining. Breakfast and lunch are quick service meals, while dinner is a full experience. Make reservations early, as they’re highly coveted and disappear fast.

For those who prefer something a little less formal, Gaston’s Tavern offers goodies like pastries and the refreshing LeFou’s Brew drink, a beverage made from apple juice so it’s suitable for fans of all ages. You’ll love the antler-heavy décor inside, and when you’re in the area, keep an eye out for Gaston himself in the Magic Kingdom

Belle and Beast also appear in the daily Festival of Fantasy parade, and if kids want to meet her up close and personal, she hosts Storytime With Belle throughout the day.

Youngsters (and some oldsters) even get to play an active role in helping her tell the story in this live Walt Disney World experience.

Fun at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a movie-themed theme park, so it’s only natural that it has its own "Beauty and the Beast" attraction. If you loved the cartoon and movie, check out the live stage show that runs several times each day.

Check a schedule when you arrive at the park for the current run times at the Theater of the Stars, where the Broadway-style spectacular takes place. It features Belle, the Beast, Mrs. Potts, Gaston and other familiar characters in a condensed 25-minute version of the story.

Meet Belle at Epcot

Epcot at Walt Disney World is well known for World Showcase, the spot where guests can tour multiple countries all in one day.

What more natural place is there for Belle than at the France pavilion? Meet her there for a photo, and if you visit during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, which runs through May 29, look for the stunning topiaries portraying the famous couple from "Beauty and the Beast." Belle also shows up in Norway at the Akershus Royal Banquet hall, along with several of her princess friends, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
