"Fortnite" has hosted many amazing in-game events, including collaborations with some of the entertainment's major franchises such as the "Avengers: Infinity War," Avengers: Endgame," and "John Wick." The game has also hosted real-time in-game concerts in collaboration with popular American DJ "Marshmello." The latest update brings yet another crossover and this time it's with a renowned sportswear brand, Jordan.

Unlike other game modes that are focused on eliminating players, the latest "Fortnite X Jordan" event will mainly take place in the creative mode of the game.

Epic Games has launched a new creative world called "Downtown Drop" which will let players do massive jumps and collect coins down city streets in order to win.

New additions with patch v9.10

Aside from the event, some changes to weapons and items in the main game have also been made. The changes are as follows:

  • New random "Hot Spots" on the map that will have high loot rate and increased chances of Supply Drops.
  • Sniper Shootout Duos, Unvaulted Squads, and Close Encounters Squads Limited-Time Mode have will be coming to the game this week.
  • Shadow Bombs availability has been decreased and drop count has been decreased from 3 to 2.
  • Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle has been unvaulted.
  • Availability of Combat Shotgun has been reduced.

With the new Hot Spots feature, selected named locations will be marked in golden text on the map.

Players can shoot down loot carriers in the Hot Spots for additional high-quality weapons.
