Gaming giant EA has something big coming this year. The gaming company has just teased a new "Battlefield" game, a sequel to the wildly popular "Battlefield 1." The game will be playable at the upcoming E3 2018 event.

According to GameRant, the upcoming game will be a deep and fully featured shooter, but with some added changes. The new "Battlefield" game will have more focus on skill shooting due to the removal of some weapons and random bullet deviation. As mentioned earlier by the gaming website, the new game will contain seven factions at launch, which includes the United States, the Kingdom of Italy, Imperial Japan, Free French Forces, the Third Reich, Great Britain, and the USSR.

Based on the newly released youtube video by Drakesden, the game will also have 10 base camps along with a free map. Players will learn more about the upcoming game by watching the newly released video made by Drakesden. The new game is currently in the development stage at DICE’s studio in Sweden, Gamerant reported.

About the first-person shooter 'Battlefield 1'

Developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts, "Battlefield 1" is a first-person shooter game for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game is the fifteenth entry in the widely popular "Battlefield" franchise. It was first introduced to the gaming world in October 2016. As for the gameplay and setting, the game is set in the period of World War 1.

Players can take control of various vehicles and World War 1 weapons, which include mustard gas, automatic rifles, semi-automatic rifles, flamethrowers, and artillery. There are also melee weapons, which have been divided into three groups. These are the light, medium and heavy.

The game was first released to the public (open beta) on August 31, 2016.

The developer released four major expansions for the first-person shooter game, "They Shall Not Pass" (March 2017), "In The Name of the Tsar" (September 2017), "Turning Tides" (December 2017), and "Apocalypse" (February 2018).

The game was the top-selling game in the US gaming market in the first few months of its full release.

In other gaming-related stories, developer EA DICE is giving away its “They Shall Not Pass” expansion for “Battlefield 1” owners (console and PC). First released on March 14, 201, “They Shall Not Pass” focuses on the new playable faction, the French Army. It also features four new map set and a new set of weapons.

The "They Shall Not Pass" expansion can be claimed on Xbox Marketplace (for Xbox One users) and Origin (for PC users). The DLC expansion will be free to all players (PC, PS4, and Xbox One players) until May 15. After May 15, the game price tag will return to $15, according to gaming site Polygon.
