PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds” has been breaking a lot of records in today's gaming industry. It has sold over 10 million copies even if it is still in the Early Access state. Recently, in an Ask Me Anything on Reddit, “PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds” creator brendan Greene revealed his future plans for the game. Fans got very excited as Greene revealed a lot of new features that may totally give an all-new look to the game.

New vehicles, maps, and servers

According to Brendan Greene, he said that his team is looking forward to bringing more vehicles and maps into the game.

It is known that Greene already confirmed a new desert map in the game. He also announced three new vehicles, which includes a classic camper van. Aside from the new upcoming maps and vehicles, Greene also confirmed that they will open more servers in different regions. This will allow more players from different parts of the world to enter the game. It will also lessen some server issues that cause lag for players. However, it might take too long before it happens as Greene said that his team has no time for opening new servers yet. Players can also expect a nighttime feature in the game. According to Greene, he said that he already saw the prototype of the nighttime system in the game. Due to this, fans can expect that the nighttime system will be implemented in “PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds” soon.

Physics improvements, campaign mode, and leveling system

Brendan Greene also confirmed that his team would love to add a single-player campaign mode in “PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.” However, he said that they don't have that much time or resources yet to create a campaign mode. According to Greene, the island is the best location for the game's story mode.

Aside from the campaign mode, Greene also said that the game will receive physics improvements, especially in vehicles where it can flip over just by driving too fast or hitting a small object. Greene also confirmed that his team wants to implement a leveling system in the game, where players can level up their characters. He also said that he might add a weapon skill system in the game, as well as other progression system types.

This will bring a huge impact in the game, as “PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds” is known to lack in rewards after finishing or winning a game. The game's sound system is also being rebalanced, which will give a more realistic experience to players.
