Die-hard fans are all aboard the hype train for the upcoming release of Ubisoft's latest AC title, “Assassin’s Creed: Origins,” in late October. The game looks incredibly stunning in the most recent gameplay footage running at 4K resolution on Microsoft’s most powerful console ever, the Xbox One X but it also confirms the game's best-confirmed features so far.
4K Xbox One gameplay footage
Big UK retailer GAME has released a 20-minute 4K video that showcased the next title in the acclaimed series running on the newest and most powerful console to ever hit the market from tech giant Microsoft.
The superb and eye-catching visuals of the game are by far the biggest feature seen in the history of the franchise.
Notably, fans must have enjoyed watching the gameplay footage even more without sorts of commentary on the background. Apparently, the amazing graphics is not just the big news that’s confirmed in the latest gameplay video.
An in-depth look at confirmed new features
Ardent fans have also seen the main protagonist riding on his horse, swimming from one boat to the other, climbing on walls and taking down his enemies with crossbow and arrow. The new footage further showed different in-game environments, some combat style, and the eagle companion called Senu.
Also, the latest gameplay teaser also revealed new gear and ability progression menus.
In the new game, the Progression is divided among the three skill trees with branches for “Warrior, “Seer,” and “Hunter” but according to game pundits, there’s no need for players to only focus on one since a mix and match option is available.
Ptolemaic Egypt twice the size of Havana
Meanwhile, Game Director Ashraf Ismail confirmed that “Assassin’s Creed: Origins” is two times bigger than that of Havana - the largest map created for another fan favorite “Assassins Creed: Black Flag.”
Players will further be able to explore five all-new areas within the new setting such as Faiyum, the Nile Delta, Giza, Memphis, and Siwa.
According to Ismail, all of these cities are filled with tons of different quests that will make one location feel unique from the other.
"Assassin's Creed: Origins" will be launched on Xbox One, PS4, and Windows PC on October 27, 2017. The game will transport players back to 43 B.C. and follow the story of the main protagonist, Bayek - an assassin of Brotherhood that existed during the reign of the last Pharaoh of Ptolemaic Egypt, Cleopatra VII.
