"Grand Theft Auto 5"’s biggest DLC will finally be coming this June according to Rockstar Games’ recent announcement. Although very little details were revealed regarding Gunrunning, it was more than enough to whet gamers’ appetites for more action-packed fun and excitement outside of being a biker or a CEO.

Here’s a rundown of what we do know. Specifics were not divulged, but based on the name, this update will likely involve the illegal weapons trafficking industry.

Also, the forthcoming DLC update will allow gamers to purchase new bases that will allow them to unlock newly upgraded vehicles and special missions.

Rockstar Games said, “New opportunities are opening in a highly lucrative and equally malicious network hidden underground ripe for takeover by the VIPs, CEOs, and Biker bosses of Los Santos and Blaine County.” Well, this pretty much sums up most people in Gta Online.

Vehicles

Based on the released screenshots, GTA Online’s expansion gets a blend of two variations for its weaponized vehicles. The existing "Grand Theft Auto 5" vehicles, such as the Tampa, received some extensive modifications, making them deadlier than ever.

Meanwhile, an all-terrain APC is one such new vehicle that is part of the massive expansion that will be available for purchase. This serious all-terrain vehicle resembles a more realistic military vehicle able to move troops from one target area to the next. Note that these aren’t the only vehicles, but a taste of what Rockstar Games has in store for players.

Underground bunkers

What’s weapons trafficking without some secret bunkers, lairs, bases, etc? These will be accessible via hatches which are located in remote areas in the countryside, functioning as HQ. There’s a possibility that players need to buy one of these, just like the CEO Offices. And mind you, these will come at a price. So, be prepared.

Further, Mobile Operation Centers are also available for the massive update and are customizable. And, as part of the hatchet purchase, gun ranges and target practice areas will be available.

Gunrunning update to be released in June 2017

Focusing on the illegal weapons trafficking industry in southern San Andreas, "Grand Theft Auto 5"’s Gunrunning update will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC this June. However, there is no specific date as of this writing. Stay tuned for more details as Rockstar Games promised to release further information in the coming weeks.
