The Chinese government is rumored to be using collected DNA to monitor its citizens. China has begun collecting blood samples from males to create genetic map of its male population. The Chinese have been collecting samples for the last three years. They are even going to schools to collect DNA from young males. This big of a project means they need numerous DNA collection kits. The government has signed contracts with an American company. They are also using material provided by Yale University geneticist Kenneth Kidd.
