On Saturday, all NFL teams were required to whittle their roster down to 53 players to get set for the regular season. As is always the case, some well-known players did not survive the roster cuts.

Here is the most notable player who was cut by each team following their final preseason games. All of the players who were released can be found at ESPN.

1

Arizona Cardinals - Pharoh Cooper, KR/PR

Cooper was a First Team All-Pro in 2017 as a returner while with the Rams.

2

Atlanta Falcons - Logan Paulsen, TE

While he didn’t provide much as a pass-catcher, Paulsen did start 10 games for the Falcons last season.

3

Baltimore Ravens - Shane Ray, DE

A first round pick of the Broncos in 2015, Ray recorded eight sacks in his second year.
