Neil Walker
The Miami Marlins infielder could be a nice utility man pickup at the deadline. He's currently boasting a slashline of .295/.375/.443 and that's a pretty massive improvement over anyone the Cubs have put at second base this year. Daniel Descalso needs to go and Walker could be a nice trade replacement.
Will Smith
The Giants reliever would be a huge asset for a bullpen in flux. Yes Craig Kimbrel will be a heck of a closer, but they still need relievers that can get the team to Kimbrel. He's boasting a 2.09 ERA this season in 26.2 innings pitched.
Asdrubal Cabrera
Cabrera is having himself a heck of a season for the Rangers. He's slashing .256/.339/.449 and has 10 homers already this year. While he's played third base exclusively this season, he's played all over the infield in his career. That includes shortstop, and he could be a nice option as a backup to Javy.
Adam Eaton
Adam Eaton isn't someone who is going to put up eye popping numbers, but he could be a great fourth outfielder. He's slashing .274/.357/.397 this season. He's got a little pop, a little speed and could be a nice addition.
Jake Diekman
Jake Diekman isn't a top target, but he could be had from the Kansas City Royals for relatively cheap. He posted a 2.25 ERA in May, though he's off to a tough start in June. If he can right the ship, he could be a low risk, high reward pickup for the pen who likely wouldn't cost more than a PTBNL.
