The next team in this series of top 10 draft picks to be looked at is the Memphis Grizzlies. While draft picks since 1990 have been looking at for the previous teams, the Grizzlies inaugural season was 1995-96. They were known as the Vancouver Grizzlies up until the 2000-01 season when they moved to Memphis.

In order to make this list, the player must have actually been drafted by the Grizzlies. Only the player's impact with the Grizzlies is considered (Kyle Lowry would be much higher on the list if his time with the Raptors was included). This isn't exactly a top 10 players drafted by the Grizzlies list as to where the player was drafted could matter (if a second round pick that had almost as much impact as a lottery pick, then the second round pick would be higher).

The team's draft picks were found at Basketball-Reference.

1

Mike Conley - First round, fourth overall (2007)

Traded to the Jazz on Wednesday after 12 seasons with the Grizzlies, Conley ranks first in franchise history in points (11,733), assists (4,509), steals (1,161), and games played (788).

2

Shareef Abdur-Rahim - First round, third overall (1996)

In five seasons with the Grizzlies, Abdur-Rahim missed just three games and had impressive averages of 20.8 points and 8.2 rebounds in his tenure with the team.

3

Shane Battier - First round, sixth overall (2001)

Battier averaged a career-best 14.4 points an outing during his rookie season and had two other seasons with Memphis in which he averaged double figures in scoring.

4

Mike Bibby - First round, second overall (1998)

While he played just three seasons for the Grizzlies, Bibby racked up the dimes with 8.1 a game in 1999-00 (eighth in NBA) and 8.4 in 2000-01 (fourth in NBA).

5

Jaren Jackson Jr. - First round, fourth overall (2018)

A First Team All-Rookie member this past season, Jackson shot over 50 percent from the field while averaging 13.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in 58 games. FanSided recently spoke about how he was praised by Vince Carter after his impressive rookie season.

6

Hakim Warrick - First round, 19th overall (2005)

Warrick was a strong scorer mostly coming off the bench for Memphis as he averaged 10.2 points with the team despite starting just 82 of his 307 appearances.

7

Kyle Lowry - First round, 24th overall (2006)

While Lowry is now a perennial All-Star with the Raptors after leaving Memphis, he still produced in 2007-08 as a backup point guard averaging 9.6 points, 3.6 assists and 1.1 steals.

8

Bryant Reeves - First round, sixth overall (1995)

Known affectionately as 'Big Country', Reeves spent all six of his NBA seasons with the Grizzlies and averaged over 16 points a contest both in 1996-97 and 1997-98.

9

Sam Young - Second round, 36th overall (2009)

Young started 46 games for Memphis in the 2010-11 season, and he averaged 7.4 points in 158 games over his first two seasons.

10

Jarell Martin - First round, 25th overall (2015)

Playing three seasons for Memphis, Martin had his best year during his final season with the team in 2017-18 when he posted averages of 7.7 points and 4.4 rebounds.
