Baseball is finally back! While the Seattle Mariners and Oakland A's got things started last week in Japan, MLB's Opening Day officially arrived on Thursday (Mar. 28). Here's a look at five of the top player performances from the first full day of Major League Baseball.
Joc Pederson - LA Dodgers
It was a homerun parade on Opening Day for the World Series runner-up team. The LA Dodgers recorded eight of them in a 12-5 win over the Diamondbacks. Joc Pederson came up with two home runs and a double in a 3-for-5 performance to lead the way.

The Cubs are another National League team that had a strong start on Opening Day. Javier Baez helped in that effort as he smashed home runs in the fourth and fifth innings of the 12-4 win. Baez finished 2-for-5 with four RBIs for the day.
