Palmer puts capper on what could have been
The senior guard scored 19 points (all in the second half) on Sunday in the loss. He now holds the school record for scoring in a season. His up and down game (started 0-10 from the floor) perfectly encapsulates what was supposed to be a triumphant return this year.

Fatigue finally a factor
Whether it was Palmer's 0-10 start to the game, or Isaiah Roby seemingly fouling every time he stepped on the court, the Huskers finally looked tired. That was especially true late in the game when they just couldn't keep up with a good TCU team.
Finally, Nebraska just couldn’t keep up.

After four wins in five games to extend the season, the Huskers’ year came to a close in the second round of the NIT Sunday night in a 83-72 loss at TCU. https://t.co/uf647pb4MD
Tanner Borchardt had himself a game
After spending most of the season as an after thought, Borchardt had another incredible game. He was 6-for-6 from the field and scored 16 points. He also hauled down 13 rebounds. The senior from Gothenburg played a hell of a final game of his career.

Roby uneven again
One of the longest standing truisms of the Tim Miles era has been "once Isaiah Roby puts it all together, he's going to be a force to be reckoned with." He certainly didn't put it all together on Sunday. Thanks to being in foul trouble all game, he played just 16 minutes.

What happens next?
45 minutes after the Huskers lost in the Big 10 tournament, Bill Moos announced he would wait until the end of the season to make a determination about Miles. This time around, Moos' only statement was that he was proud of the effort. That means Husker fans are going to wait. For how long and for what are the big questions. Did Miles save his job with the late season run? Is Fred Hoiberg teed up to be the next coach? The next week is going to be interesting.
