On Saturday (January 5), the Seattle Seahawks battle the Dallas Cowboys in a primetime NFC Wild Card game. The two teams have met multiple times before, with this game for a spot in the next round. Below are some of the trends that analysts are looking at it in terms of the betting odds for the game and how it might go.
Dallas on a roll in last eight games
Heading into this Saturday's game, Dallas is 7-1 straight up in their last eight games. They've also beat the betting spread with a 6-1-1 record in those games. One of those recent wins was the final game of the season, where Dak Prescott played the entire game and they won a game they didn't really need to. There's some momentum.

Seattle's night game trends
This will be an NFL playoffs primetime matchup on Saturday, and that seems to favor the visiting Seahawks. Russell Wilson and company are 11-2 straight up and 11-2 ATS in their last 13 prime-time games as an underdog. They're also an astounding 22-5-1 in their last 28 primetime games where Wilson was quarterback.
After a turbulent offseason, many were calling for a rebuild in Seattle.
